仕事内容
In this role, we are seeking a Project Manager to lead a team of 20-30 members across various projects aimed at modernizing the client's legacy technology stack. The client is a prestigious Japanese investment bank with a mixed American/European/Japanese setup. The project is expected to span 3-4 years, focusing on transforming a complex system built on COBOL, C, and VB/ASP into a modern infrastructure. As the project manager, your responsibilities will include coordinating internal resources and third-party vendors, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, and developing project scopes and objectives involving all stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring resource availability, allocating resources effectively, developing detailed project plans, and using verification techniques to manage changes in scope, schedule, and costs. Measuring project performance, managing risks, and maintaining relationships with third parties will also be key tasks. You will create comprehensive project documentation and report progress to management. The position requires a strong technical background with 10-12 years of experience, client-facing skills, and native-level Japanese proficiency to comprehend system specifications. Experience in legacy conversion, project management, and possibly holding PMP or Scrum Master certification is advantageous.
