仕事内容
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead digital transformation initiatives within the engineering and manufacturing domains, specifically focusing on the implementation of a next-generation Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. The role involves comprehensive project management responsibilities, including overseeing the entire implementation process, managing diverse stakeholders, handling risk management, and ensuring quality control. The role requires minimal customization to align with engineering needs. The Project Manager will work closely with a global team to understand customer requirements and current business processes, ensuring the PLM implementation meets the objective of enhancing efficiency and transparency in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include managing stakeholder communication, defining the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), tracking project progress, managing risks and action items, and ensuring project delivery and quality metrics. The role also entails the development of detailed project plans, WBS, trackers, and other essential artifacts. The Project Manager will provide weekly status reports to both customers and internal management, and manage project efforts and costs.
Successful candidates should have a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile, and possess experience in managing projects within the engineering or manufacturing sectors. Fluent Japanese and business-level English proficiency are required. Knowledge of PLM systems, such as Teamcenter, and experience in digital transformation projects will be advantageous. This role presents an opportunity to gain insights into semiconductor manufacturing processes and lead their integration into the PLM system.
