仕事内容
As part of our team, you will serve as an Onsite Bilingual Hardware Engineer, reporting directly to the Onsite Manager and client Project Manager. You will be responsible for onsite hardware design and testing. This involves gathering hardware requirements by engaging in discussions with the client team, and eliciting these requirements with support from our existing onsite and offshore teams. You will be tasked with understanding hardware designs put forth by Capgemini's onsite and offshore teams, making proactive suggestions, and discussing any necessary improvements with customers to share feedback with the teams involved.
Your role will also include being actively involved in project planning, regularly monitoring progress concerning schedule, risks, and quality to ensure deliverables meet expected quality standards and are delivered to customers on time. Regular reporting to client management and Capgemini's delivery management team will be expected to maintain transparency and efficiency in operations.
You are required to have a solid foundation in embedded electronic hardware and software design, along with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Key skills include expertise in circuit design, embedded hardware, PCB layout, and RTOS. A business level of English proficiency is mandatory, and you should be capable of working at the client location. Proficiency in Japanese is preferred, particularly for reading, writing, and communication.
Additionally, experience with the Zuken tool for PCB design, EMI/EMC/electrical compliance testing, and familiarity with the medical domain will be advantageous. Experience managing offshore teams from Japan and collaborating closely with the customer to support business growth is also preferred.
