仕事内容

At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we are seeking an Engagement Manager responsible for leading AWS consultants, partners, and client teams in managing and delivering AWS cloud products and services. Our Engagement Managers are crucial in facilitating our customers' journey to AWS by removing constraints and accelerating their capabilities through a comprehensive suite of AWS solutions. They engage in a variety of projects, ensuring the application of AWS's best practices while aiming for strong customer success across industry lines.

Collaboration with internal AWS teams—including field sales, pre-sales, training, and support—is essential to deeply understand customer needs and ensure high-quality, value-driven delivery. Engagement Managers leverage formal project management methodologies at the enterprise level, displaying knowledge in areas such as infrastructure, data management, and application platforms. Additionally, they excel in communication, interfacing with leadership and project resources to craft and disseminate project communications effectively.

Tasked with leading varied teams, Engagement Managers analyze project objectives, devise comprehensive strategies to achieve these goals, and drive both AWS and customer stakeholders to success. The role involves enhancing process efficiencies, strategically guiding projects within policy frameworks, and applying business and financial acumen to develop substantial business cases. From project inception through to governance, success criteria definition, milestone tracking, and budget management, they take ownership to meet and often exceed customer expectations.

This role also demands the ability to work efficiently under pressure, manage multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment, and adapt to dynamic conditions with the ultimate goal of delivering results. Proven experience in negotiating and conflict resolution, along with the ability to influence and drive results through indirect team members, is vital. Engagement Managers are continuously involved in fostering team motivation and building robust client relationships to drive AWS's customer-oriented initiatives forward.

その他- **応募要件**:
- 10+ years’ experience leading the delivery of enterprise-level IT consulting projects
- 3+ years’ experience working as a ScrumMaster across multiple cross-functional teams
- Led teams and engagements utilizing agile approaches, value and principles as well as Scrum framework
- Understands the value proposition of the public cloud and has delivered cloud engagements (IaaS, PaaS, Saas)
- Experience with Agile and Project Management (APM) toolsets (Jira, RallyDev, VersionOne, Taiga, etc).
- Managed technical projects consisting of 8 or more people totalling over $1,000,000 budget or multiple complex work streams in parallel
- 2+ years' Automotive industry or Global Financial Services experiences
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- Fluent in Japanese and English

- **望ましい経験**:
- Has at least one active project management certification (e.g., APM, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2)
- AWS Experience and Certifications.
- Managed and delivered IT engagements for a Fortune 100 company.
- Managed engagements using both Waterfall and Agile/Iterative methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree in STEM, MBA or Masters in Computer Science.
- Has presented to C-level executives (CIO, CEO, CTO, CISO, etc.) as well as to technical subject matter experts.
- FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) for Salesforce
