仕事内容
We lead the technical design, architecture, and end-to-end development of applications related to the insurance sector. Our responsibilities include overseeing solution delivery across multiple platforms such as web (using React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript), backend (utilizing Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS), and integration (through MuleSoft). We provide guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to best coding, design, and review practices. Robust solutions for API/interface and batch processing (Control-M, JP1, Job Scheduler, JS7 JobScheduler) are critical for data exchange and automation, and we ensure these are in place.
We collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and IT Operations to transform business requirements into scalable technical solutions while setting and enforcing secure coding standards. Our team actively engages in code, design, and architecture reviews, promoting a DevOps culture with CI/CD through Jenkins, GitHub, and containerization platforms like OpenShift.
Additionally, we drive the adoption of database best practices involving MySQL and Postgres, enabling data analytics and reporting integrations with tools like Databricks, Power BI, and Zato. Our role encompasses support for troubleshooting, impact analysis, and performance tuning activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including those of the insurance industry and FSA Japan. We maintain effective communication with both technical and business teams in Japanese and English to achieve these goals.

| その他 | **応募要件**: ・10+ years of solution and application design/development experience (hands-on), including leadership responsibilities. ・Deep expertise in front-end and back-end technologies: React, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS. ・Experience with integration frameworks/platforms such as MuleSoft ・Strong architectural mindset with the ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions. ・Experience with batch processing/orchestration tools (Control-M, JP1, Job Scheduler). ・Practiced in CI/CD toolchains (Jenkins, GitHub) and container platform (OpenShift). ・Strong skills in database design with MySQL and Postgres. ・Ability to communicate fluently (business level) in both Japanese and English. ・Proven experience leading multi-cultural, distributed development teams. ・Experience working in Agile environments. **望ましい経験**: ・Prior experience in Japan’s insurance business systems (Life and P&C). ・Familiarity with data engineering, analytics, and business intelligence tools (Databricks, Power BI, Zato). ・Security-first development: understanding of CheckMarx or similar tools. ・Knowledge of performance tuning and non-functional requirements management. ・Certifications: TOGAF, AWS Architect, Certified Scrum Master. ・Insurance domain knowledge is added advantage |
