仕事内容
The role involves establishing effective communication and coordination with customers, as well as both onsite and offshore teams. Key responsibilities include designing test plans, creating and executing test cases to verify both functional and non-functional requirements, and documenting and managing defects in collaboration with developers and product managers. We are also responsible for communicating testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders. Our tasks include performing in-sprint, integration, and regression testing for web and backend services, and ensuring end-to-end validation of business processes through API and interface integration testing.
We actively participate in transformation initiatives such as improving process maturity, enhancing testing efficiency, and integrating DevOps and security vulnerability measures to achieve project goals. Additionally, we mentor junior team members, assigning and tracking testing tasks to ensure completion without lapses in schedule, quality, or cost. Participation in Agile ceremonies is essential, where we provide feedback and estimates for QA activities. Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QA leads across a distributed, multicultural environment is also a critical aspect of our role.
The role requires 3-8 years of IT industry experience, specifically in software testing life cycle within the insurance or financial services domains. We must also demonstrate strong experience in writing and executing test cases, coupled with an understanding of Agile QA practices and effective team collaboration. Proficiency in business-level Japanese (N2 or above) and English is mandatory.
