仕事内容
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the digital transformation of a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. This role involves managing stakeholder communications, defining and tracking project timelines, and delivering a high-quality system implementation that aligns with engineering and manufacturing processes. A key responsibility is the transition from a legacy to a next-gen PLM system, emphasizing minimal customization. You will oversee project risks, issues, and action items and ensure that quality and delivery standards are maintained. Weekly status updates are required for both the customer and internal management, focusing on the project's efforts and costs.
Your role will also include staying informed about new technologies and industry trends to enhance the project’s success. Effective communication skills are essential as you manage multiple stakeholders and define a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS). Additionally, you will have the opportunity to learn from a global team and advance from Project Manager to Program Manager, ultimately aspiring to become a Delivery Lead.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with experience in both Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Familiarity with PLM systems and experience in engineering or manufacturing domains are necessary. Fluency in Japanese and business-level English are required. Ideally, candidates will also have experience in digital transformation, potentially in consulting roles, and familiarity with PLM products like Teamcenter or Enovia. Basic programming skills and experience in global environments are advantageous.
