仕事内容
We engage in participation in client meetings and discussions to define target requirements, which form a critical part of our role. In this capacity, we conduct studies on data and current analytical methods to develop a comprehensive understanding that informs our subsequent steps. Our work heavily involves selecting and proposing suitable analytical solutions to meet specific client needs effectively. This leads us to create data visualizations using Python, which aids in presenting analytical findings in an understandable and insightful manner.
The project involves analyzing plant and big data for one of the largest global automotive companies. While the first phase has been completed—entailing the summarization and visualization of data—our current focus shifts to employing analytical methods for deeper analyses. This includes conducting trend analysis and root cause analysis to derive actionable insights.
In this role, there is a distinct opportunity to build expertise in big data analysis. Additionally, hands-on knowledge in project management and client relationship management can be enhanced, providing a strong foundation for a future potential role as a Data Scientist.
Candidates are expected to have a proficient grasp of Python and familiarity with data sources and processing tools like Snowflake/Snowpark, SQL, web scraping, data cleaning, and data preparation. A solid statistical foundation is required, including understanding of probability, statistics, linear algebra, and calculus. Language skills in Japanese (basic) and English (business level) are necessary, with business-level Japanese preferred along with leadership and team management skills. Experience in the automotive domain is an advantage.
