仕事内容

As QA analysts at Capgemini, we will be embedded within a life insurance client, tasked with ensuring the quality and effectiveness of their systems. Our responsibilities include gaining a deep understanding of the business goals and system requirements through direct interaction with project teams and customer stakeholders. We will work across various levels to clearly define business needs, which involves developing detailed design solutions, implementing them, and performing extensive testing. These solutions will be crafted using both custom software applications and configured products tailored to meet the client's requirements.

We will actively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders during IT, Future Testing (FT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phases, ensuring that testing activities are well-coordinated and that the final outputs meet the desired quality levels. A significant part of our role involves regression testing to maintain system integrity. We will also be responsible for documenting and reporting test results comprehensively to both project teams and customer stakeholders.

Additionally, we will engage directly with customers to troubleshoot system issues, modify system functionalities to align with customer requirements, and work on performance improvements or interface upgrades. The role demands 6-10 years of testing experience, preferably within insurance projects, proficiency in both business and conversational Japanese (minimum JLPT N2/N3 certification), and familiarity with tools such as Jira and Confluence. Furthermore, expertise in automation testing tools like Jira X-Ray and PostMan, a solid understanding with the ability to write SQL procedures, and robust communication skills in business English are essential to work effectively with Japanese and offshore engineers. Our work style will be hybrid, involving office presence 2-3 times a week based on project requirements.
