仕事内容
As an Onsite Calibration Engineer with Capgemini Engineering, we will work directly with the Japan Automotive delivery head and serve as the Onsite Lead at the client's location. Our primary responsibility will be managing automotive software and engineering projects, particularly in powertrain components such as transmission control and engine components. We will integrate Matlab/Simulink blocks into ECU and conduct HIL testing, with a specific focus on calibration for performance and emission standards including dataset management and post-processing for systems like DPF, GPF, and SCR.
We will break down high-level requirements into lower-level subsystem requirements and designs, create project schedules for component development, and manage progress to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet client standards. Our role will also involve managing tasks related to design and development, coordinating with offshore teams for resources, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
Additionally, we will act as the main point of contact between clients and project teams, ensuring that client requirements are accurately identified, defined, and communicated. We will ensure seamless communication to meet customer expectations and project deadlines through regular updates and quality reviews. To succeed in this role, strong project management skills, proficiency in tools like PPT, XLS, and JIRA, and excellent communication skills in Japanese and English are essential. A background in automotive or mechanical engineering is preferred.
