仕事内容
As a Senior Project Manager for Engineering IT/Digital Manufacturing at Capgemini Engineering, we are responsible for managing one or a portfolio of projects primarily within the Automotive sector. Our key responsibilities include preparing, planning, executing, and managing projects to meet the business objectives of our Automotive clients. We ensure all project deliverables are executed on time, within scope, quality, and budget per contractual commitments.
We lead project governance, aligning all stakeholders, addressing escalated project issues, and ensuring project profitability through accurate forecasting and reporting using internal project management tools. We monitor and analyze project metrics to identify improvement areas and facilitate team productivity through effective skill allocation. Mentoring and developing our team, we actively contribute to the project management community.
In terms of business growth, we support the creation of engineering offers such as PLM, MES, and xIoT, and work closely with senior clients to enhance relationships, manage expectations, and develop new work streams. We establish commercial proposals, manage risks and dependencies, and contribute to our Engineering Practices strategy by providing market and customer insights. Additionally, we collaborate cross-functionally with overseas R&D teams to ensure effective delivery of engineering services.
Using recognized methodologies including Agile, we set productivity and quality targets for projects, create functional strategies and objectives, and develop budgets, policies, and procedures to support the infrastructure.
We require at least 5 years of project management experience in Engineering IT-related projects, particularly within PTM, MES, and xIoT systems, and experience in the OT environment. High adaptability and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to work with offshore teams across various regions. A native level of Japanese and business proficiency in English are also required.
