仕事内容

Do you want to be a key part of a team focused on increasing the reach of cloud computing through driving strategic initiatives? Do you have the Go-To-Market experience, technical acumen, and communication skills needed to help further establish Amazon as the leader in the industry/segments? Amazon Web Service (AWS) is looking for dedicated Go-to-Market manager to capture Government initiatives and convert corporate-wide initiative for commercial sector. This includes GENIAC (Generative AI Challenge) initiatives and other cloud-related opportunities.

Key job responsibilities
* Serve as a key member of Japan GTM (Go-To-Market) team to drive corporate-wide initiatives by identifying customer needs and communicating values.
* Identify grant opportunities and drive the creation of new business opportunities, such as those enabled by Gen AI, and address specific challenges by leveraging these grants for the targeted governments, end-users, and AWS stakeholders.
* Lead cross-segment large deal pursuit resources, (similar to the approach taken for GENIAC) to identify non-linear growth opportunities, including the next cycle of GENIAC and to drive opportunities outside Gen AI domain, such as a space technology development funding scheme led by Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI).
* Collaborate with Government Engagement team to catch government initiatives.
* Maximize the impact of activities by collaborating with Gen AI Acceleration GTM, Marketing and AWS Partners.
* Enable AWS Account teams, support strategic deals and drive co-selling efforts with AWS Partners.

A day in the life
* Develop Government-to-Commercial strategy and mechanisms, working with key internal stakeholders.
* Proactive collaboration with cross function teams such as Public Sector, Start Up, SCE (Strategic Customer Engagement), AWSI (AWS Industry), WWSO (WorldWide Specialist Organization), SA (Solution Architect), AWS Partner Organization, Marketing and PR to drive synergy-building across initiatives to deliver substantial and far-reaching achievements
* Lead the process to conclude the strategic initiatives/deals, to create significant new business opportunities for AWS.
* Manage relationship with government and their partner companies.
* Influence AWS Sales division team and enable the AWS sales teams to drive Generative AI programs.
* Work with Marketing, PR and Partner to maximize the reach and impact for scaling the initiatives.

About the team
As the Go-To-Market team, we are trusted advisors to customers, supporting their business growth through AWS technologies and solutions.
Our core responsibilities include generalizing common customer challenges into use cases, developing horizontal solutions leveraging AWS native services and partner offerings, driving sales plays, and establishing mechanisms for sales teams to propose solutions to customers.
We spearhead the ideation and execution of AWS' go-to-market strategy, collaborating cross-functionally. From research to solution development and deployment, current team members take an end-to-end approach, working closely with multiple AWS teams. While our team comprises experienced business development professionals, we provide comprehensive on-boarding, including training programs and shadowing opportunities, to help new members become cloud service experts.

Bachelor's degree
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Working in or with government is preferred.
Total 7~15 years of career including 7+ years of business development or Go-To-Market or management/digital consulting or IT presales experience with Bachelor's Degree in related
Strong verbal and written communications skills including fluent English as well as Japanese are basic requirements.

Master's degree or equivalent
MBA, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Degree.
3+ years of GTM experience in B-to-B
5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
Experience in public cloud / software development / data center / infrastructure / networking technologies with ability to understand current and future customer needs and present AWS technical benefits.
The right person will be capable of catching up the business trend and understanding the complexities of IT environments across the industries.
